The Creative Corner
The Creative Corner is a community space originally set up by Jeni (@Bees_and_the_Trees) for artists and creatives to share their skills. Plucky Goat are committed to maintaining this element of the space. While the room is now partially dedicated to our music classroom and instrument workshop, the workshop and stage are also available for hire by local artists, creatives and small businesses looking to run one-off or regular events. We also sell a range of products by local artists - come and see what we have in stock!

Gerry the Beekeeper

Gerry has been a local beekeeper for 20 years and is always on hand for advice and a natter. His candles are made from 100% local beeswax and 'burn right' thanks to his adopted candle dipping device.
Sue McGuinness
Sue started her pottery journey in 2018 while looking for a new creative hobby. Sue ensures every piece is one-of-a-kind, with intricacies that tie her pieces back to nature. All tableware is fired with food safe glaze.

Room Hire
Do you have a skill to share? We are keen to host local artists and creatives for workshops and talks. We can accommodate up to 15 people in either our workshop or stage area, and 30 people in the full space. The central buffer can be folded away if more space is needed but we will need to know in advance.
We can advertise and take payments on your behalf in exchange for a commission on ticket sales, or you can simply hire the room from us for a set fee and we will leave you to it. Please use our contact form to get in touch about room hire and we can work out the best setup for your event.

If you have hired the space from us before, you will be sent a private link to a booking calendar so you can re-hire more easily in future.
